We at ABSAROKA MOUNTAIN LODGE invite you to join us on a ride that will be a feast for your eyes as well as your stomach. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner campfire cookout horseback rides.  Our trails on the Northfork of the Shoshone National Forest offer a variety of beautiful terrain, including river crossings, wooded forests, and breathtaking high mountain views.  Our group sizes are small, our horses are gentle, and our experienced wranglers are always there to give you a helping hand.  (P. S. They’re pretty good cooks, too!)

BREAKFAST RIDE- 8am-10:30am daily.  This is our most popular ride!  Scrambled eggs w/cheese, bacon, fried potatoes and biscuits, all cooked over an open campfire.  Cowboy coffee and orange juice to wash it all down.  What better way to start your day?  $55/person

LUNCH RIDE- 9am-2pm daily.  This ride is great for people who want to ride in the backcountry. The lunch consists of burgers, brats, or hotdogs, snack crackers, apples and cookies. We have several different trails to choose from.  $85/person

STEAK DINNER RIDE- 4pm-8pm daily.  Another favorite of our guests, this ride is a perfect way to end the day.  The menu for this ride is steak (of course,) fried potatoes w/onions, baked beans and garlic bread. Once again, all cooked over and open campfire.  Can’t you just smell it now? We also have strawberry shortcake for dessert.  Good stuff.  $75/person

2 HOUR RIDE ONLY-Varying times daily. Works well for those who don’t want a meal but still want to experience the beauty from atop a horse.  We are fortunate to have a trail that offers such a variety of scenery for a shorter ride. Perfect for younger kids and first-timers.  $50/person
