Area Attractions

The most popular attraction in our area is none other than Yellowstone National Park. Established in 1872, it was declared America’s first national park by President Ulysses S. Grant. It extends into 3 states, (Wyoming, Montana and Idaho,) and has an abundance of wildlife, subalpine forests and geothermal features, (including the renowned Old Faithful Geyser.) Waterfalls, canyons, lakes, rock features and high mountain peaks surround you in this wonderland of nature. This is the quintessential American vacation destination!

The Cody area is not only recognized for its fishing, but also for some of Wyoming’s best whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking. The trails are endless for those who love hiking, horseback riding and backpacking, and the road from Cody through Yellowstone draws thousands of motorcyclists and mountain bikers every year, boasting some of the most scenic rides in the country.
